O'Neill Institute Internship

The Centre has partnered with the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University, Washington D.C. to send one uOttawa J.D. student as a summer intern in 2019. If selected, the student will work full time in D.C. on a range of academic and policy programs in health law, and should have excellent research and writing skills (English only). Compensation will be $16.90 (USD) per hour.
Please note that the selected student will need to comply with the requirements for obtaining a J-1 visa. One of the main requirements is that the intern is enrolled in an academic program in their home country and will return to that program after completing the internship.

Your applications should include a cover letter addressed to the O'Neill Institute, a c.v., and your law school transcripts (unofficial copies are sufficient). The cover letter should set out why you are interested in health law and policy, why it would be beneficial for you to work at Georgetown in particular, and speak to your aptitude to take on the role. Applications are due Monday 11 February at 11:59 pm (NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE).
