The University of Ottawa Client Consultation team, made up of members Erica Predko and Pooja Naidu, made it to the semi-finals in the annual Canadian Client Consultation Competition. The Competition, held at the University of Windsor, took place March 2-3 and simulates the initial client interview and showcases the students’ interviewing skills.
The team performed strongly through the initial three rounds of competition and was tied for third place moving into the semi-final round. Despite another strong performance, Erica and Pooja were not selected to move on to the final round. Ultimately, the University of Calgary took home the top award.
The judges praised Erica and Pooja for their natural chemistry, teamwork, empathy, ability to deliver bad news, and problem analysis skills. The team expressed their thanks to the University of Ottawa for sponsoring their participation in the Canadian Client Consultation Competition, as well as the individuals who helped prepare for the competition, as it allowed them to hone in their practical skills.
