Numerous Nominees from Faculty of Law Among Canadian Lawyer’s List of “Top 25 Most Influential” Finalists – Please Consider Voting!

Canadian Lawyer has released its list of nominees for the 2018 “Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada” honours.  Among the nominees are 6 professors from the Faculty of Law, as well as 12 alumni.  

Five honourees will be selected in each of the following categories.  The names of the faculty members (in bold) and alumni are listed below, under the category titles/descriptions. 

Please consider voting!  You may vote for up to five nominees in each category.  Voting is open until May 22


Government/non-profits/associations, including public inquiries, officers of Parliament, the courts, and academic institutions 

Changemakers: lawyers in any area or type of practice who have been leaders, innovators, or catalysts for positive change in any area of the profession such as diversity, law firm management, the courts, legal technology, education, etc.

Human Rights, Advocacy and Criminal

Young Influencer: lawyers born in or after 1978, who have had an extraordinary impact on the profession or society

Corporate Commercial, including litigation, deals, class actions, etc.
