Faye E. McWatt (LL.B. ‘84) Appointed as Associate Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on December 21, 2020 the appointment of Faye E. McWatt (LL.B. ‘84) as the new Associate Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario.

From the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada News Release:

Associate Chief Justice McWatt replaces the Honourable Frank N. Marrocco, who retired on November 10, 2020, after 15 years of distinguished service as a judge.

She brings a wealth of experience to the position, with 14 years practising law and 20 years as a judge in Ontario.
