  Common Law Alumnus Aaron Grinhaus, LL.B. 2008, has published a textbook: A Practical Guide To Smart Contracts And Blockchain Law.” The textbook offers a timely and comprehensive overview of legal issues related to distributing ledger technology, Blockchain and smart contracts.

  Common law graduate student Ghazaleh Jerban clearly remembers the first time she saw the artifact that would become the focus of her fellowship research. “This big frame of intricately woven delicate wires,” as she describes it, at Ottawa’s Canada Science and Technology Museum stopped her in her tracks.

• Tech Law Program Sees Record Number of Internship Placements

  One of the foundations of the Law and Technology program is the technology law internship, an opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience with the technology law practice and policy. The internship is a core part of the faculty’s longstanding LL.M. in Law and Technology and JD with Concentration in Law and Technology.  This year, the program attracted a record number of students, with nearly 30 students fanning out across leading organizations throughout the national capital region.
