Common Law Alumnus John Fowler (J.D. 2013) to Headline ideacity 2018

John Fowler (J.D. 2013), CEO, The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc., is one of the featured speakers at ideacity 2018, taking place June 20-22, 2018 in Toronto.


The ideacity conference is widely regarded as Canada’s “Premier meeting of the minds”. Now in its 19th year, the three-day event brings together some of the brightest scientists, entrepreneurs, scholars, educators, artists and activists on the planet to present and debate cutting edge ideas and ways of thinking.


John graduated summa cum laude from the Common Law program in 2013. A long-time cannabis advocate, John has spent nearly fifteen years in the cannabis industry in many roles ranging from cultivation to advocate for patients’ rights to lawyer.

In 2013, John founded 7ACRES to bring his passion for cannabis and legal training together into the emerging legal cannabis market in Canada. 7ACRES is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Supreme Cannabis Company, where John is CEO.
