Common Law Alumnus Brandon D. Stewart has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue LL.M. studies at Yale Law School for the 2017-2018 academic year. He is one of only 12 students to receive one of Canada’s most prestigious graduate scholarships.
Fulbright Canada is an organization created to encourage mutual understanding between Canada and the United States through cultural exchange. Canadian students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, diversity and community service receive US$15,000 to pursue graduate studies and/or research in the United States on contemporary issues relevant to both countries.
Mr. Stewart received his J.D. with an Option in Environmental Law in 2013, graduating top of his class. While at Yale Law School, Mr. Stewart intends to examine the development of climate change disclosures under securities law in North America. He will also act as a lead editor on an upcoming special issue for the Yale Journal on Regulation.
Congratulations Mr. Stewart!
