Penny Collenette, LLB ’91, co-chaired the Advisory Committee of the Prosperity Project which recently called for a nation-wide childcare system. The Project penned an open letter to Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, six other federal ministers and Opposition Leaders, signed by public policy and business leaders from across the country.

Professor Jennifer Chandler’s term as the Bertram Loeb Chair in Organ and Tissue Donation has been renewed for a second five-year term, beginning on July 1, 2021. An expert in the study of the law and ethics of emerging biomedical technology, Professor Chandler is known nationally and internationally for her ground-breaking work in the areas of organ and tissue donation law, ethics and policy, the legal and ethical implications of the brain sciences, and mental health law.
Professor Richard Albert will spend the Fall 2021 term in residence at the Common Law Section as the inaugural Allan Rock Visiting Professor. Professor Albert will also serve as a Visiting Fellow with the uOttawa Public Law Centre.
