The Faculty of Law is very pleased to welcome Erin Fitzpatrick as its first Mental Health and Wellness Counsellor working exclusively with law students. Erin will provide a variety of counselling supports to students, as well as expertise and support for the Faculty’s Student Wellness strategic initiatives.
During this pandemic, what role should the police play in relation to homeless people, a highly vulnerable group that is subject to punitive and detrimental law enforcement measures? What should now be expected of the police as they adapt to the realities of this unprecedented crisis?
