Cependant, au fur et à mesure de ces progrès, de nouveaux défis de nature juridique, réglementaire et éthique émergent en parallèle.  Le Centre de droit, politique et éthique de la santé, de par son caractère interdisciplinaire, est une plaque tournante pour la génération de nouvelles idées et données probantes ainsi que pour l’élaboration et la diffusion de recherches interdisciplinaires destinées à s’attaquer aux problèmes urgents en matière de santé, de soins de santé et de système de santé.

Recruiting LL.M. Fellows

CHLPE is pleased to announce our new CHLPE Fellow program.  We are recruiting up to seven excellent law graduates to complete their LL.M. with us starting in September 2020 or January 2021. Our Fellows will be integrated into the ongoing funded research programs of CHLPE professors to complete cutting-edge work in a range of key challenges in health law. Special Topics: Global Health Governance (API 6339)

Introduction to the role and functions of the World Health Organization and other global health institutions. Consideration of the conception of global health from different theoretical perspectives on international relations. Introduction to the role of non-state actors in global health; global health security; and selected contemporary challenges in global health governance (e.g., antimicrobial resistance; infectious disease control and the 2019 novel coronavirus).

The course will be offered Mon/Wed 830-1130 from the week of May 4 to the week of June 12th.
