Common Law professors John Manwaring, Ellen Zweibel, Marina Pavlović and Anthony Daimsis, along with co-authors John C. Kleefeld of the University of Saskatchewan and Julie Macfarlane of the University of Windsor have published a new edition of Dispute Resolution textbook, entitled Dispute Resolution: Readings and Case Studies, 4th Edition (Emond Publishing).

The book explores the theory and practice of dispute resolution by highlighting examples from Canada, the US, and other jurisdictions.  It includes a selection of writings by renowned dispute resolution theorists and practitioners, surveying a range of dispute resolution processes, including conflict analysis, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, online dispute resolution (ODR), hybrid processes, and dispute systems design and evaluation.  The fourth edition allows for a contextual approach to dispute resolution by featuring readings that examine how the aforementioned processes are applied in different areas, including family matters, business disputes, labour and employment, and criminal law.
