The Clinic provides legal services to the Ottawa community. Staffed by lawyers and law students, the Clinic provides public legal education, legal advice, and representation at court for a variety of criminal, family and tenant-related matters. We also assist women who have been victims of violence in obtaining compensation.

Drop-In Hours for New Clients

If you require legal assistance, the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic (the "Clinic") holds three drop-in times for new clients. No appointment is necessary.

Monday: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm 
Wednesday: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm 
Thursday: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm 

Please note that the Clinic will not hold drop-in hours for new clients on statutory holidays, or during student exam and training sessions from August 14, 2015 to September 13, 2015. Please contact us at (613) 562-5600 for more information.

Drop-in hours at our Satellite Clinic on the Carleton University Campus are held for Carleton University students. Our office is located in the conference room inside the Graduate Students Association offices located on the 6th floor of the University Centre. The day and time of this service change each semester.
